About Us

Baby BumbleBee was founded in 1999 by a stay-at-home mom who was dissatisfied with the videos available for infants and toddlers.  As a mom she was focused on finding materials that were age-appropriate, entertaining, and educational.  

It's our goal at Baby BumbleBee to provide parents with these educationally appropriate DVDs, flashcards and apps for infants and toddlers. Many of the "Edutainment" products available for this age group make outrageous claims about the benefits their products can offer children. We take a different approach to learning. Our products focus on the development of specific age-appropriate skills and use time-tested approaches to teaching those skills.  We also strive to produce content that is "low-stimulus" (you can read more about this below, if you wish).  It's important to keep in mind that the first three years of life are critical to your child's intellectual, social and emotional growth.

At this point in your baby's life, positive and enriching experiences can have a lasting impact. This is an incredibly exciting time for parents, especially first time parents. The changes you will witness in the first year of your child's life will undoubtedly leave you with a sense of wonder. Your positive and loving interactions with your baby are the most critical components of this development.
